2nd Transnational Project Meeting

The 2^nd meeting of the international coalition involved in the BIG4SPORTS project took place in Athens thanks to one of the club partners of the coalition, Olympiacos.

While the Kick-Off meeting in Barcelona was an opportunity to plan the general objectives and actions of the project, the meeting of Athens was a concrete milestone to clarify the project’s progress on the different actions:

Diagnosis and Best Practices

-Implementation of a Good Governances Scheme thanks to questionnaires sent to Sponsors (public and private) and Sport Organizations to define a hierarchy of good governance criteria.

-Publication of an Electronic Handbook of International Best Good Governance practices

Communication and Dissemination

Presentation of a calendar to set the following tools of communication:

-An Electronic Platform to display the project

-Social networks (Twitter and Linkedin)

-A newsletter every 6 months

Project Management and Evaluation

-Organization of 2 Steering Committees (Barcelona & Athens)

-Following-up the project implementation

-Different administrative matters

The next event will take place in Zagreb in March 2020. The Multiplier Sport Event will be the occasion to present the Electronic Handbook of International Best Good Governance practices and its dissemination through the Electronic Platform of the project.
